Productivity: at 48 ft wide the Rotacon Mower-Windrower easily out-performs all-comers - 25-30 hectares per hour.
        a) Patented bent tines ensure good product flow to outlets
        b) Combination of augers and draper belts also add to good product flow
        c) Under knife spray nozzles allow weed treatment at the optimum time with a 2000 litre tank mounted on the tractor

Economy: With its high production rate and at 1400 rpm and 20 litres per hour diesel consumption, the Rotacon is very economical and quiet.

Accuracy: In operation the Rotacon Mower-Windrower is supported on its own 4 large floatation tyres in close proximity to the cutter-bar. It follows ground contours independent of the tractor's wheel movements resulting in a highly accurate cut. The cutting height can be adjusted from the cab by
        a) Altering the angle of attack in the three point linkage using the hydraulically driven top link
        b) Adjusting the wheel height - height adjusters on all four wheels are linked together and these adjusters are driven by a single electric motor controlled           from the cab

Capital Cost: The Rotacon can be used with any of the reverse steer tractors available on the market and does not tie up capital cost in a dedicated prime mover. The tractor can be used for other purposes throughout the balance of the year.

Maintenance Features: The Rotacon incorporates "off-the shelf" components in
        a) The twin (flip-over tine) reels by HCC (from Neil's Parts)
        b) Dual Cutter-Bars, fingers and drive boxes by Schumacher (from Great Western Tillage)
        c) V-Belt tracked Draper belts and Rollers (from Mid-West)
        d) Wheel height adjusters are standard truck "landing legs"
        e) Furthermore the cutter-bar mount is produced in 8 foot bolt on sections so that if damaged a section (or sections) can be removed and straightened or           replaced if necessary.



Road Transport: The Rotacon can be loaded (by the tractor itself) onto a sturdy trailer on standard truck wheels with sprung axles and towed by the tractor (with 2000 litre chemical tank still in place) to next farm. On Australian roads 50 km/hr with no escort required.
