1)Full breakout protection unique to Rotacon
a. Components are permitted to move sideways when dealt glancing blows on encountering large stones or other objects (that would damage other machines) or when the tractor alters course abruptly to avoid obstacles (see second last still photo below) - components will immediately and positively return to its true alignment when past debris or course correction over.
    Sideways breakout forces are
      i. Fertilizer tine 100kg
      ii. Seed tine 100kg
      iii. Presswheel 25kg
      iv. Support Wheel 25kg
      v. Coulter 25kg
Manoeuvring around obstacles while working - each ground contact component cannot be subject to more than 100kg sideways force and the whole frame cannot be subjected to more than 2000kg sideways force.
b. Rotacon's unique load sharing system ensures that no component can experience a more than 150kg upward force. Effectively this can be considered the upward breakout force. When a conventional machine is lowered into the ground and a tine in the middle section lands on a stone that tine may end up supporting the weight of that whole section plus half of the weight of each section either side. The traditional agricultural solution when things bend or break has been "make it heavier and stronger". Rotacon have taken the approach of "make it smarter" with its load sharing technology
c. The RA40 also has the conventional backward break out force for the tines of 400kg

2) Rotacon load sharing technology - Means no large frame carrying wheels
Each opener shares the weight of the working assembly and unique technology ensures that each opener shares the load equally.
a. Constant even press wheel pressure.
b. Even power demand - no great horsepower reserves required.
c. Accurate depth control for coulter, fertiliser knife and seed closer.

3) Accurate fertiliser and Seed placement - With its openers always in their designed lines and tines at their designed heights - fertiliser placement is accurate and unique Rotacon seed-tine and closer design gives "maximum till" in the minimum area around the accurately placed seed.



4) Convertible to disc seeder - Can be quickly and easily converted to double disc seeder - Simply "knock off" the Fertiliser knife, "knock on" the disc assembly and pin back fertiliser tine - seed tine can be used in the normal way or pinned back with the fertiliser tine. Coulter can serve to make it a triple disc seeder.

5) Superior Coulter Performance - Precise individual sideways and vertical breakout protection, "no tool" adjustment and Rotacon's load sharing technology means outstanding trash clearance, no step-overs

6) Rapid positive Headland lift - Single cylinder action, reduce risk of in-ground tine turns. Tighter headland turns are possible.

7) Easy Setting -Almost all adjustment can be done without tools - just take out the linch pin and move locating pin to new hole. Some adjustments are even simpler but all are accurate and reproducible.



8) Unique Accurate Seed and Fertiliser Metering - The Rotacon seed and fertiliser metering system is the first real breakthrough in this field for decades, accurate, blockage free, no seed damage, low horsepower requirement, no wear, no shear pins or slip-clutches, no external bearings, nothing to break, hassle-free. Bolt-on (one bolt) adaptor converts to small seed (canola) metering., All stainless steel construction. Can be linked to "Farm Scan"

9) Pivot Bushes - another Rotacon first - long lasting but easily and economically replaced, pins are prevented from rotating.

10) Fold in - Fold out - A fold-up for transport system exclusive to Rotacon. Folds rapidly from working width of 12 metres to transport configuration (3 metres wide - 4 metres high) without leaving the cab.
